Your opportunity
Reporting to the Application Development Lead, the Salesforce Administrator is responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing Dairy Australia’s Salesforce platform. As part of the Application Development Team, you’ll manage day‑to‑day administration, evaluate and investigate issues, and push configuration and enhancements through to production using established DevOps and release processes.
This role is both hands‑on and future‑focused - you’ll help solve problems, investigate issues, improve adoption and ensure the platform is secure, scalable and aligned to Dairy Australia’s growth.
This role is offered as a 2‑year fixed term contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage Salesforce administration including users, profiles, roles, permissions and data security.
- Act as level 1 support, evaluating problems and triaging incidents with a solution‑focused mindset.
- Configure and maintain automation using Flows, Workflow Rules and Process Builder.
- Oversee Salesforce environment management including sandboxes, SSO and certificate management.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and leverage new features to improve business outcomes.
- Support Salesforce‑related tools including Experience Cloud and Pardot, and progressively learn administration of other enterprise systems.
- Create and maintain system documentation, audits and training materials.
- Provide guidance and training to improve adoption across the organisation, communicating information clearly to users at all levels.
- Collaborate with the Vendor Release Engineer to deliver CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Participate in release management activities, demonstrating resilience and adaptability during tight delivery cycles.
About You
You are resilient, curious and proactive, with the ability to solve problems, communicate clearly and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a Salesforce Administration role
- Demonstrated experience pushing changes into a production environment
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, automation and Lightning Experience
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps or similar highly regarded)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (mandatory)
